You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Marine Corps Installation Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will analyze mission assignments, establish program objectives, and develop current and long-range plans, projects, and operating schedules to develop and support Command level administrative policies, guidelines, and procedures.
You will determine and recommends required staffing to accomplish workload; approve requests for official representation funds, manage Command evaluation requirements, and develops internal methods, procedures, and controls.
You will interpret general policies, directives, and regulations pertaining to the command program issued by higher echelons ensuring compliance with and aligning Command policies in support of established policies, directives, and regulations.
You will explain objectives, theories, methods, techniques, and goals to be attained, and issue authoritative decisions on technical or policy matters.
You will execute and make necessary adjustments, modifications, and revisions in assigned program areas to meet current and long-range objectives.
You will be responsible for authoring, implementing, and maintaining knowledge management processes and programs in support of MCICOM.
You will develop, maintain, controls, and executes Command Directives Management Program responsible for the planning for, preparation, and accuracy of the CG and Executive Directors executive requirements.
You will be responsible for indirectly supervising and providing guidance and direction in direct support to COMMCICOM priorities of over 250 civilians and contract employees and 100 military members within HQ MCICOM and Regional Installation.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of administrative roles, responsibilities, and policies sufficient to establish Command-wide policies and procedures in direct support of Senior Leadership goals and initiatives; guiding and influencing senior level directorates and external agencies; understanding of program and project management sufficient to manage day to day operations and long-term planning priorities that have direct impact across Head Quarters and subordinate commands.
