Duties
The employee will be required to independently perform common and complex Engineering Equipment tasks without more than normal supervision. Member of a crew of 5-7 employees performing skill labor and equipment operations. Operates gasoline or diesel powered engineering and construction heavy equipment such as graders, bulldozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, compactors, sewer pumper truck, refuse truck, and truck/trailer combinations. Will serve as Acting Roads & Trails foreman in absence of the supervisor and may direct small crews of permanent or seasonal labors/Terms when designated. Will be required as needed to provide administrative duties and/or support for project writing for cyclic projects, support for; Financial & Business Management System (FBMS) and Facilities Management Software System (FMSS). Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsements is mandatory.

Screen-Out Element - Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision is demonstrated by operating all of the following heavy engineering equipment including but not limited to: graders, dump trucks, flatbed trucks up to 50,000 GVW, semi tractors with trailers up to 98,000 GVW, water and sewage tankers, loaders, bulldozers, excavators/backhoes, motorboat operation of vessels ranging from 18' single engine to 45' twin engine. Performed work operating heavy engineering equipment on steep and on rough terrain to excavate, backfill, grade or level earth, including roads, to rough specifications. Operated equipment on flat and rolling terrain to excavate, backfill, grade or level earth, including roads to exact specifications. Operated equipment to haul materials and/or equipment to and from jobsites.
