You will serve as a Firefighter (Paramedic) of NAVSTA MAYPORT.
Duties
You will determine measures needed to minimize the loss or damage as a result of fire or explosion.
You will assess a patient systematically to identify the nature, extent, and seriousness of the patient's condition.
You will complete written reports and records on emergency services incidents, patients, drugs administered equipment, or supplies used.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing emergency response by applying advanced medical treatment protocols and administering various medications via multiple routes; 2) managing emergency medical patient care and ground ambulance transport; 3) including fire protection, suppression, emergency medical treatment, and hazardous materials response.
This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Firefighter II, Airport Firefighter, HAZMAT Technician, HAZMAT Operations, Apparatus Driver-Operator for Pumper, Airport Rescue, Aerial vehicles, and NREMT-Paramedic. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement.
