You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMAND STAFF, SITE OPERATIONS, MISSION SECURITY OFFICE, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION (NAWCAD) BLG0000 of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will coordinate with mitigation/response authorities for resolution of insider threat referrals and other matters.
You will brief and debrief personnel on Special Access Programs (SAP) and security awareness for personnel seeking authorization or authorized to the facility.
You will lead team members in solving technical problems in all matters related to physical, emergency management, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and operations security.
You will serve as a Security Specialist for the Insider Threat (InT) NAWCAD Lakehurst.
You will utilize risk management best practices and procedures to assess and determine risk priority based on available information.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DA-04 or comparable GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience:
Working directly with security management programs and protocols while managing, directing, developing, administering, or performing work within one or more of the following security disciplines: Insider Threat, Special Access Programs, Information security, physical security, communications security, operations security, industrial security, personnel security and research technology protection.
Coaching team members, coordinating work assignments, and solving technical problems in all matters related to physical, emergency management, Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and operations security.
Identifying potential risk reduction and/or control measures based on applicable regulations and best practices.
Reviewing Physical Security documentation and correspondence for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures and instructions, and
Preparing and deliver briefings (oral/written) for senior management and employees occupying SAP/SAR billets.
