About the position: This position will be assigned to the NAF Accounting at Minot AFB, ND. This is a Regular Part Time Position (RPT) 20-35 hours are guaranteed a week. RPT employees are eligible to use the fitness center, golf course, bowling center, clubs, and swimming pool. Regular Employees are also entitled to Medical/Dental/Retirement/Sick/Vacation/401K/Paid Parental Leave.

Duties

Receives exchange items from customers and distributes contract operations accordingly. Receives incoming linen from commercial laundry and dry-cleaning facilities. Moves linen to proper location by storing and stacking. Distributes linen and laundry as it is returned from cleaning. Monitors any overages and shortages in delivered quantities. Serves as quality assurance evaluator for contract surveillance and provides monthly feedback. Provides performance work statements and measures compliance by inspections, audits, and customer critiques. Reports any discrepancies. Performs and documents semi-annual linen inventory. Maintains statistical data. Reconciles contractor invoices and payment amounts. Drafts suggested budgets as needed. Maintains compliance with Minot AFB hazardous waste management plan. Manages ongoing safety programs and ensures a safe work environment. Recommends changes to customer service standards, operational procedures and facility operating hours. Acts as building custodian and records management liaises with Civil Engineering to meet requirements. Helps load and unload a step van, regular van or stake bed truck. Responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the linen exchange facility. Performs other related duties as assigned. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind. Must be proficient in standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Moderately heavy physical effort is required, including occasional heavy lifting, pushing and moving linen, linen carts, and moving or lifting items of 50 pounds or more. Working from ladder required. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
