This position is located in the Office of the Secretary, Facilities, Information and Asset Management, Event Center. The Project Manager is directly responsible for managing the U.S. Department of Transportation Multi-Media Center operations, including all aspects of studio and location video production, live and pre-recorded radio programs, training, editing, multimedia graphics, budget oversight, resource management, equipment maintenance, and production oversight.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.
To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience serving, planning, organizing, and directing the production of video and audio programs including news and topical material, live and recorded interviews, and coverage of special events related to the mission of the agency/organization.
Experience assisting in planning and carrying out audiovisual production.
Experience establishing production schedules and assuring timely execution of each design projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
Multimedia Technologies - Knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and techniques to develop or apply technology using text, audio, graphics, or other media.
