About the Position: This position is with G-3 USA OPERATIONS AND PLANS SUPPORT GROUP located in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Make detailed analysis of leadership's intent and prepare a comprehensive plan to effectively implement policies. Maintain constant surveillance over program to ensure adherence to regulations, policies, and guidance. Translate broad concepts and objectives into projects and programs, with specific delineation of the roles of the various organizational elements. Develop materials and/or present briefings for the agency and high ranking civilians. Provide guidance to personnel to resolve policy problems, monitor and coordinate the effort of organizational elements to insure timely accomplishment of the mission. Conduct research and develop effective solutions for leadership. Accomplish special tasks and requirements. Serve as technical expert and advisor to the on matters relating to program/management analysis, and manpower/program resource allocation. Monitor, review, and evaluate staff inputs on, and coordinate and maintain charters, MOUs and support agreements between organizations. Prepare implementation instructions covering both internal operations and coordinative activities outside the Army IJSTO Office affecting overall mission. Coordinate outside the organization for the purpose of planning and organizing efforts, resolving problems which transcend various management disciplines, exchanging experiences, advising on professional matters and organizational effectiveness.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
