This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Talleyville, DE Field Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of examining and supervising insured financial institutions, leading sound policy development, evaluating resolution plans, and monitoring and mitigating systemic risks.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Applicants must be a Commissioned Risk Examiner in the FDIC.
AND
To qualify for CG-13, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience examining a financial institution’s safety, soundness, and risk posed to the Deposit Insurance Fund.
To qualify for CG-14, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing review of supervisory matters or examining large, complex or troubled financial institutions applying credit appraisal procedures and techniques.
