Duties
Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Division at a large garrison.
Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community.
Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
Reviews program objectives and priorities, and develops five-year plan with Capitol Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC) and Annual Operating Budgets covering projected programs of division resources.
Requirements

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
- Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation.
- Be generally available to work irregular hours, evenings and/or weekends.
- Perform duties that involve working in an indoor and outdoor environment.
- Successful completion of training requirements within the prescribed time frame and demonstrated on the job competence is required.
Qualifications
Work experience directing/managing one or more DFMWR Business Operations activities for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year.
NOTE TO USERS: SIZE OF INSTALLATION MUST BE DETERMINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH IMCOM'S STANDARD GARRISON ORGANIZATION (SGO).
Highly Preferred:
Must possess (1) year of work experience directing/managing, at the NF-04 level, one or more FMWR Business Operation(s).
