Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist within the FAA, Western Service Area Technical Operations, Logistics Program at the District level.

Duties

Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
• Interviews will be conducted IAW FAA Policy and/or applicable Bargaining Unit Agreement

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-G, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level/grade of FV-F, FG/GS-5-9. (Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/SEC-IV/A/gs-admin.asp, for more information) in the Federal Service.Specialized experience working with personal property and materiel management and the related regulations, laws and policies; providing logistics support to complex technical systems; maintaining and reconciling records of property by using automated inventory, property management, and financial systems; preparing disposal documents, reports, memorandum and presenting information to customers from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

Education

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:

Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree.
