This position is located at the Colonial National Historical Park. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a tractor operator for the unit.

Duties

Operates farm type tractors with towed/side implements to provide grounds care and maintenance duties in various settings (fields, roadways, hilly terrain) to include but not limited to, mowing, grading, tree removal, and tree trimming. Operates lawn tractors to provide grounds care and maintenance duties in various settings (fields, roadways, hilly terrain) to include mowing. Performs periodic and preventative inspections and maintenance on farm and lawn type tractors to identify and repair issues as appropriate (belts, lubricants, blades, etc.). Operates other types of mowers and string trimmers as necessary to perform roads and grounds care and maintenance.
