As the Director of the Digital Communications Program Management Office within the Office of Strategic Communication you will be responsible for oversight and improvement of the agency's flagship website, gsa.gov, and the intranet site, Insite, and for ensuring the content is consistent with GSA publication policies and communications strategy.Location of position: GSA, Office of Strategic Communication, 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, DC.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $163,964.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience applying advanced leadership and management techniques to plan and direct the operational activities of a digital communications organization. Experience must include expertise in:
Content design;
Providing program governance;
Web policy and procedure development;
Usability and accessibility testing;
Analytics;
Overseeing and directing the strategic planning, design, technical implementation and evaluation of new website initiatives and projects;
Ensuring web content is consistent with an organization’s publication policies and communication strategy;
Applying budget and fiscal methods used in establishing and maintaining an organization;
Planning, directing, and evaluating the work of subordinate managers and employees;
Overseeing and directing the development of functional requirements of products, platforms, emerging technologies and/or services associated with the content and operation of websites; and
Collaborating with senior officials across the organization.
