This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), Business Operations Group (BOG). As a Supervisory Program Manager (Director), GS-0340-15, you will serve as the Group Director and second-line manager, providing policy direction, coordination, and support for CCSQ's business services.

Duties

Provide oversight to three divisions of staff that focus on CCSQ administrative, budget, and program operations. Responsible for supporting the organization and management of CCSQ’s workforce and financial resources to assure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective accomplishment of the Center's functional responsibilities. Implement strategic planning for CCSQ operations, programs, and activities. Responsible for the planning, formulation, and execution of various human resource actions, operating budgets, acquisition planning, grants management, and complex contractual issues.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
