This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Superintendent House Office Buildings, Facilities Management Division, Business Operations Branch. The selectee serves as a Tools and Parts Attendant (Fork Lift Operator) and will be responsible for utilizing fork lifts and pallet-jacks to unload and move materials, equipment and supplies to distribution locations and/or storage rooms.

Duties

Tour of Duty:  Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm

Requirements

• You must be able to pass a drug test.
• Your resume and question responses must demonstrate job-related elements.
• You must possess a valid State or District of Columbia driver’s license.

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position: Uses automated stock keeping systems to monitor inventory AND unload/move materials, equipment and supplies to distribution locations or storage rooms. Ability to perform the duties of a Tools and Parts Attendant (Forklift Operator) without more than normal supervision.
