Duties
You will provides technical assistance and support on computer and other IT related problems.
You will installs and troubleshoots a variety of applications to include commercial off the shelf programs.
You will submit and manage service requests for local purchases of IT equipment, applications and services to support mission requirements
within the area of responsibility.
You will generates a variety of technical reports of actionable requirements and information as required by regulatory guidance and the
leadership.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to
travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You may be required to be recalled to duty for this position.
- You may be required to travel to hostile environments in performance of the duties of this position.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of
combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Planning and delivering customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements; troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving IT systems and providing advice and assistance to customers; developing clear and concise IT reports and documentation for senior IT management. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical advice, support, and problem resolution to customers in multiple areas of information management (i.e. Personal Computer, office automation software, general office automation equipment, email, telecommunications, video teleconferencing, Local Area Network services, specialized applications), and maintaining the functionality and availability of IT networks and systems (i.e. hardware and software).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
