You will serve as a Production Specialist in the Production Division of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will participate in meetings to gather and exchange pertinent information. You will identify program trends through data analysis and direct the implementation of corrective action plans. You will determine the feasibility or impact on cost and scheduling of proposed changes to the production process. You will prepare reports or written assessments to provide project objectives, requirements, scope, or status updates.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Managing the Command's automated management system to perform facilities management and work control functions; 2) Reviewing the work scope and content, consider priorities and requested completion dates, prior commitments, existing schedule and workload before work determinations are made; 3) Working with clients to clarify, adjust and expand scopes of work to achieve a clear understanding of client's requirements; and 4) Developing independent queries and reports to track numerous projects Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
