About the Position: Serves as a Senior Budget Analyst at Tooele Army Depot (TEAD). Performs a variety of program planning and analysis work in complex areas for the command and/or programs that have a total budget program in excess of $63 Million.

Duties

Provide advice on all aspects of the formulation of the administrative, management and mission budgets. Analyze, interpret and apply complex legislative, policy and regulatory decisions to develop budgetary plans, policies, and guidance and to make adjustments to the budget. Review and consolidate budget/cost estimates through assessment of validity of assumptions. Evaluate consistency of dollar estimates with previous performance costs and within total estimate. Determine propriety of methods used in developing and consolidating estimates in previous reviews. Assist operating officials in the formulation and preparation of budgets by providing guidance and raising questions of propriety to proposals made by operating officials. Present budgets at installation level by participating in organizational reviews of operating units within assignment.
