About the Position: Serves as a Supply Management Specialist performing property accountability, supply management functions related to the mission of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (USACID) Field Office (FO). Provides leadership with 100% accountability and ensures all equipment is hand receipted/sub-hand receipted to the user or lowest level for all Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) nonexpendable property belonging to all applicable Unit Identification Codes (UICs).

Duties

Facilitate and expedite procurement processing and tracks, controls, and maintains accountability of nonexpendable purchases. Maintains document registers and all files associated with the receipt, issue, maintenance, and turn-in of equipment. Performs data entry and queries. Independently perform and manage property book accountability and audit procedures into the automated document registers. Troubleshoot property and materiel issues of the Battalion for primary hand receipt holders and special agents. Coordinate the turn-in of excess, serviceable, or unserviceable property from supported customers and dispenses serviceable assets for the Brigade and its tenant units. Examines processes to ensure accuracy, requisition authenticity, and funding to validate compliance with established regulations. Performs data input of Property Accounting System hand receipts; provides hand receipt holders with copies of all transactions and provides assistance as required; develops and provides supply policy and procedural guidance to subordinates.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: If you have some, but not all, of the experience or education described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education in excess of 36 hours (total semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.
