This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Facilities Support Services Division. As a Stationary Engineer, you will perform numerous and varied duties in servicing equipment required for maintaining a large industrial production facility. This includes operation, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance of utility equipment, ventilation, air conditioning, heating and tempering equipment for production related equipment.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. You must meet the screen-out element, Ability to do the Work of the Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen Out), normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element applicants must have the ability to: perform a range of tasks as a Stationary Engineer. Work is performed using a variety of power and hand tools and safety equipment. Work is assigned in broad general instructions covering the scope of the task assigned. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified.
