This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

Manage and coordinate specific Non-Army Managed Inventory (NAMI) Conducts physical inventories, cycle counts and adjustments of a broad range of diverse and specialized secondary and major items. Conduct data inquiries in the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Research records within a variety of supply system elements Operates and maintains forklifts. Investigates discrepancies utilizing a variety of databases, review of historical records associated with the discrepant stock number, and interaction with other installation personnel. Performs baseline research and root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and communicate corrective action.

• This position requires a one-year trial period.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-06.
