About the Position: This position is with Operations Branch located in South El Monte, California at a field office. Recruitment/Relocation incentive are not authorized. This is a USA Hire announcement there are 2 questionnairs that must be filled out in order to be considered.

Duties

Works under the very general supervision of the Branch or Section Chief, who assigns work in general terms of overall objectives and results desired. Incumbent is expected to plan and carry out the work independently, coordinate with others, and resolve problems as they occur. Work is often at forward locations where incumbent is responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, construction, and direction of major projects. Integrates sponsor/customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan, that is fully coordinated with all contributing agencies and organizations including various functional elements within the District. Controls and manages assigned projects budget and schedule, assuring that commitments to the sponsor/customer are met; and serves as the primary point of contact for sponsor/customer and other external agencies on assigned projects.
