About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Director, Logistics Integration. The referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC).

Duties

Evaluates and assesses conflicting goals and objectives, develops and assess a variety of alternative courses of action, and evaluates complex program interrelationships. Provides oversight and direction of action officers assigned to their program (s) to ensure there is a balanced workload and each understands their role in meeting prescribed milestones. Resolves issues that impact progress for meeting goals and insures the leadership is aware of the issues and challenges they cannot readily resolve. Coordinates the development of logistics policy, implementation plans and procedures required to provide logistical support to the various user organizations. Directs the integration of the applicable maintenance, supply, publications, logistics data and other related logistical functions for assigned emerging or evolving logistic program. This responsibility includes providing input to the development of budgets and identification of funding necessary to provide manpower, personnel, training and travel to support assigned program. Closely monitors expenditures and available balances to ensure support throughout the fiscal year advising the leadership of any problem areas and recommended solutions. Identifies particular shortcomings in meeting POAM requirements and investigates the cause and takes or recommends appropriate and timely corrective action. Establishes and maintains liaison with other center organizational elements, command organizations, higher headquarters, AMC community, etc. in order to ensure all actions within the assigned program are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Incumbent has the authority to represent the Command at meetings and conferences and also has the authority to commit the Command to a course of action within the framework of assigned responsibility/program.

  • Must be willing and able to travel at least 25% of the time for business.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
