The selectee of this position serves as a Training Specialist responsible for acting as an authoritative consultant to the Assistant Director, USMS AFD on training needs analysis, instructional development, training programs and related matters.
This position is located in the Asset Forfeiture Division / Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
As a Training Specialist at the GS-1712-13 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinating and administering the development of instructional material.
Delivering training programs.
Identifying and meeting the learning needs of the USMS asset forfeiture workforce nationwide.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the education and/or experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply.
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must meet one of the following:
Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:
Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, college or university, or military installation;
Administering an organization-wide training program using a combination of independent, synchronous, and asynchronous study delivered via virtual, in-person, and hybrid learning platforms;
Reviewing training materials/aids/devices, course content, and delivery methods to ensure training objectives are effectively supported and met; and
Working in a position(s) that required training or instructing others in the career field as a major duty on a regular basis.
