These positions are located in the Architect of the Capitol, Office of the Chief Engineer, Construction Division, Construction Branch. The selectee will be responsible for providing carpentry support to new construction and renovation projects in assigned jurisdictions within the Architect of the Capitol.

Duties

***POSITIONS ARE TEMPORARY, NOT TO EXCEED 13 MONTHS. ***IT IS A POSITION THAT IS SUBJECT TO THE PROJECT NEEDS OF THE AGENCY. THEREFORE, THE APPOINTMENT COULD BE TERMINATED AT ANY TIME DUE TO SHORTAGE OF WORK OR SHORTAGE OF FUNDS. IF PROJECT WORK CONTINUES; HOWEVER, IT COULD BE EXTENDED BEYOND THE 13-MONTH TIME FRAME AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE AGENCY***
