About the position: This position will be assigned to the Marketing facility.

Duties

For the purpose of publicizing and maintaining the 87th Force Support Squadron (87 FSS) brand and dissemination of timely and pertinent 87 FSS information by means of latest technology in computer devices and graphics applications. Creates interactive multi-platform digital media including mobile apps, live streaming feeds, video and motion graphics, and all forms of print collateral including advertising, posters, and special print orders. Serves as alternate web, mobile apps, and digital content administrator ensuring content is current, accurate, and of high creative quality. Platforms are functional and operational 24/7; may update content on daily basis. Works under the direction of the Marketing Director to create high quality graphics, motion graphics, marketing collateral, live streaming feeds. Assists with creation of advertising campaigns, photography, videography, assessments, and various displays. Position requires proficient graphic design skills for digital and print publishing. Assists coworkers with projects and tasks, creating and distributing myriad marketing materials across various platforms. Works with Marketing Director to ensure marketing collateral and operation meets squadron and mission objectives, properly reflecting Air Force and DoD guidelines and standards. Uses a variety of web, social media, motion graphics, photography, videography, multimedia, and graphics platforms, applications, techniques, and tools. Continuously explores, recommends, uses, and optimizes communication methods and technologies to engage with customers, and to maximize the squadron's branding, products and services. Identifies relevant new strategies, technologies, and industry trends. Creates and boosts customers' engagements, brand exposure and applies them into operations and activities. Assists Marketing Director in developing communication strategies to determine the most effective and efficient method of reaching the target market. Creates and administers interactive online forms and documents, tracks and reports user analytics, statistics, SEO, other metrics, and aggregate data for each platform. Must be available for an uncommon work schedule to include attendance for FSS events and programs to provide media coverage including live streaming. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: Experience and/or BS degree with major in graphic design, marketing, communications, and web design is desirable. Must be highly organized, have a thorough and complete understanding of graphic design and relevant tools, and possess skills necessary to produce high-end print, web and digital media enabling the creation of comprehensive, effective and concise messaging graphics, exacting website maintenance and operation, and knowledge of programming language. Must possess superior reading, writing, and comprehension skills, demonstrable working knowledge of fundamental marketing communications, and ability to understand marketing strategies, concepts, and campaign objectives. Skilled in developing media materials and knowledge of a wide range of visual communication, illustration, graphics, media, perspective, design, layout principles, balance and contrast, and concepts for the conception, planning and precise execution of a variety of projects in very fast-paced production environment. Skilled in both PC and MAC. Must be proficient in Adobe CC Suites, MS Office Suites, graphics and video production software, and other design/visual software, applications and tools. Efficient with DSLR and video camera operation and production, mobile devices, computers, printers, and other production equipment. Works and communicates effectively, accurately, and professionally with team members and internal and external customers. Must be able to work with both intensive and minimal direction. Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and provide a copy of his/her driving record. Position is a position of trust.

Education
