You will serve as a Distribution Facilities Specialist of CNSSC OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FIELD.

Duties

You will participate in the development of long range goals and objectives for Naval POL facilities and ensures that the MILCON program supports these goals and objectives You will analyze and make decisions concerning fuel distribution facilities, storage spaces, fuel handling equipment and other operational requirements You will participate in multi-agency meetings to develop and review technical specifications, criteria, guidance and standard practice for the DOD POL community You will prepare and review project document and maintain close oversight of approval projects through entire lifecycle project

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of Distribution Facilities Specialist specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing all of the following duties: 1) Applying the principles and practices of Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facility operation, maintenance, and overall organization and facility design; 2) Providing technical knowledge related to work conducted at POL facilities and systems sufficient to provide evaluation and guidance related to facility operations; and 3) Exercising knowledge of POL facility operations and maintenance to make decisions or recommendations significantly changing, interpreting, or developing mission-critical programs.
