As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.The Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector will manage a Flight Standards organization.

Duties

The Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector will manage a Flight Standards organization. The position reports to the applicable manager and will execute the Agency's aviation safety mission, communicate and build change coalitions, seek out opportunities and involve their teams in supporting change across the organization, and employ best practices for sponsoring change and manage resistance.

Qualifications

General Requirements for All Positions:Not more than two separate incidents involving Federal aviation regulations violations in the last 5 years;Valid State driver's license;Fluency in the English language;No chemical dependencies or drug abuse that could interfere with job performance; andHigh school diploma or equivalentMedical Requirements for All Positions:Applicants must be physically able to perform the duties of the Aviation Safety Inspector position in a safe and efficient manner, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
