About the position: This position will be assigned to the Youth Center.
Work hours may vary due to Youth Center events.
Typical schedule would be Monday - Friday, with occasional work on the weekends and at night.

Duties
Uses work processing software to produce a variety of documents. Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work area or organization. Types correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda, statistical or tabular material, where spacing arrangements are complicated, directly in final form without a rough draft. Arranges the material in the form necessitated by the nature of the subject matter, the purpose for which it is to be used, the format required by regulations, style manuals or policy. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining files. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations this includes annual influenza vaccinations and be free of all communicable diseases.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position.
In addition to the above requirement, applicant is required to demonstrate possession of a high degree of proficiency in typing and knowledge of word processing techniques.
Must be a qualified typist.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
