This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Power Services (P), Northwest Requirements Marketing (PS), Eastern Power Customer Services (PSE) or Western Power Customer Services (PSW).
A successful candidate in the Power Customer Services Manager position will serve as a Power Customer Services Manager, providing direction and leadership in the planning, development, and administration of programs and work processes to support the activities required of the organization.
Duties
As a Power Customer Services Manager, you will:
Determine goals for the organization, independent of or jointly with higher management.
Understand and communicate BPA policies and priorities throughout the group managed.
Make major recommendations and decisions related to the resources to devote to particular programs or program elements.
Exercise significant delegated authority to bind BPA financially via power sale agreements, including further delegating to subordinate personnel
Exercise authorities to enter into and amend agreements and negotiates resolution of contractual disputes.
Establish policies, standards, and procedures for cross-cutting customer issues involving multiple jurisdictions and multiple subordinate Account Executives.
Ensure effective teamwork and open communications among subordinates and cross-functional members of AE's Customer Account Teams.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Supporting Account Executives or performing customer-facing roles by addressing external issues, developing strategies, and leading programs to meet agency goals, enhance engagement, and maintain long-term power sales agreements.
