Duties

You will maintain, repair, and construct rigid pavements or similar cement and concrete surfaces. You will plan and lay out work from blueprints, rough sketches, construction drawings, surveys, and work orders and determines material, tools, and equipment needed to meet accepted trade practices. You will construct new asphalt surfaces by preparing subsurface and applying or leveling gravel, crushed stone, sand, or other aggregates. You will install, inspect, and repair drainage systems to include storm drains, culverts, and outlets. You will perform clean-up duties, such as cleaning equipment, sweeping, straightening, and lining up tools and other property in the assigned area.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This position may require shift work.
