About the Position: Fort Hunter Liggett is located on the Central Coast of California between Los Angeles and San Francisco. The nearest towns to Ft. Hunter Liggett are King City 26 miles north and Paso Robles 50 miles south. Fort Hunter Liggett is located in a rural area so a vehicle is a must.

Duties

Plan and perform management to include productivity improvement studies and projects. Conduct research through use of management techniques. Present recommendations to operating officials during study, interprets findings, explains recommendations. Compile data for work measurement performance standards for organizations and positions covered by comprehensive management studies. Serve as an action officer to support quality and continuous improvement projects. Serves as an advisor to the garrison on Strategic Planning and quality matters.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management, Business Administration, Etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
