This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration serving as the Director of the Records Management Training Program within the Office of the Chief Records Officer. Incumbent provides program administration, management, and leadership to develop and deliver an effective and engaging nationwide, integrated program of records management training for federal agencies. For possible duty locations, refer to "Additional Information" section. Note: This is not a Remote position.

Duties

As a TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR, you will: Serve as the Agency's foremost authority on records management training for external audiences. Serve as the Agency's expert for professional design, development, administration, testing, measurement, and evaluation of online training products and services for federal agencies. Provide program administration, management, and leadership for the Office of the Chief Records Officer of the nationwide, integrated program of records management training for Federal agencies. Serve as a supervisor of federal employees with various job series.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for GS-15: To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as: - Designing and developing training or instructional materials based on expertise in adult learning principles, federal policy, needs assessments, and emerging instructional technologies; AND - Providing technical advice, guidance, or recommendations to others about federal records/information management principles, concepts, practices and methods; AND - Managing, directing, and overseeing the work of a unit, including with and through subordinate supervisors; AND - Serving as a first-line supervisor responsible for managing employee performance. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F): For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
