This position is located at US Mint,Manufacturing Directorate - San Francisco - Automation Assembly and Inventory Management Division. As a Packaging Machine Operator Leader, you will administer plan, direct, coordinate, and control packaging operation of numismatic products. The Packaging Division is comprised of the Coin Assembly Robotic Branch and Coin Assembly Cartoning Branch.

Duties

As a Packaging Machine Operator Leader, you will: Operate and adjust various automated packaging machinery and equipment. Make minor adjustments repairs to equipment operated. Be responsible for performing the duties outlined in his/ her elements and standards to the best of his /her abilities; promptly notifying supervisors about factors that interfere with his/ her ability to perform his /her duties at the level of performance required by his/ her performance elements and standards: seeking opportunities to improve his/ her performance through training and development; and promoting team accomplishment by supporting team goals and objectives. Note; The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other occasional work assignments in conformity with the high degree of responsibility assigned to the position.
