This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access in Washington, D.C. or Thousand Oaks, California. This position analyzes, evaluates and advises management on the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of Loan Center operations.
Duties
This position is ONLY open to surplus and displaced Small Business Administration employees eligible for the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP); displaced Federal employees in the local commuting area eligible for the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP); and VEOA eligibles.
To be eligible for CTAP or ICTAP consideration, you may only apply for a position that is at or below the grade level, and does not have greater promotion potential, of the position from which you are being (or have been) separated.
Analyzes and develops reports based on program data to evaluate and monitor programs efficiency to support the Agency.
Serve as liaison between teams, Centers, and other agency departments to complete assigned projects.
Performs a variety of difficult administrative, technical, and analytical duties to provide management reports and documents using expert business and program management skills.
Serve as center liaison during projects to maintain timelines and budgets.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Appointment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: GS-12: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector includes collecting, creating, analyzing and reviewing program data; and participating in the budget process for an office/division; and processing of federal travel vouchers and associated regulations; and assisting in evaluating program issues and recommending improvements.

TIME-IN-GRADE: If you are a current career or career-conditional federal employee applying for promotion under Merit Promotion you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks in positions at the next level lower than the position being filled
