The Human Resources Division serves as strategic partner supporting the District of Columbia Courts. We are seeking two (2) part-time interns for the Fall Semester 2024.
Duties
These positions are unpaid internships. The intern's primary responsibilities include the following:
Requirements
- Background and security investigation are required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement For the Office of Director Internship:
Applicants must be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited institution pursuing an undergraduate and/or graduate degree studying human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, business management or administration or other related subjects.
Prefer candidates working towards a degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or Business Major.
Minimum Education Requirement For the Benefits Internship:
Applicants must be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited institution pursuing a graduate degree studying human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, business management or administration or other related subjects.
Candidates must be customer service oriented, must exercise confidentiality, must have excellent verbal, written, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and high-level attention to detail.
Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required. If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.

Education
