You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Amphibious Warfare Department (AWD) of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties
You will employ adult learning methods and provide quality instruction to students appropriate to the subject matter.
You will coordinator course implementation and perform duties as an instructor for all assigned courses.
You will demonstrate proper classroom management and facilitation skills.
You will maintain instructor evaluations in accordance with the local training and education standard operating procedures and service direction.
You will report any defects, deficiencies, or issues with facilities or support equipment during course execution.
You will plan and conduct validity and reliability studies to analyze test items prepared by instructors and develop recommendations for revising test items to improve clarity, adequacy, and increase reliability.
You will oversee the management of learning and course management software and databases to ensure they are kept up to date.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing and developing instructional strategies, instructor guidelines, and training programs/courses; assessing student training needs and skill gaps; AND developing policies, procedures, and standards for training and development programs.
