Duties
This position will provide the following:
- Serves as lead EEO counselor under direction of EEO Complaints Manager.
- Assists training and supporting EEO Counselors under direction of EEO Complaints Manager.
- Assists with conducting new employee orientation, delivers presentations to staff and supervisors on EEO updates and policy as appropriate.
- Helps ensure agency compliance related to EEO, accessibility, religious and medical accommodation under direction of EEO Officer and senior specialists.
- Assists with completion of 462, MD-715, and other compliance reports and data requests as needed.
- Provides data and input related to barrier analysis with other agency partners.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Suitable for Federal employment
- Must meet time-in-grade/band requirements, as applicable

Qualifications
All applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 (or ZA-I level at NIST). Specialized
experience is defined as experience interpreting and applying EEO regulations, EEO complaint counseling and processing, analyzing work force data, barrier analysis and experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution methods.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
Combination of education and experience.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
