The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a technical expert in the concepts, methods, data and applications for multiple disciplines/technology areas; the point of contact for technical programs including communicating the impact of, gaining commitment for, and ensuring consideration of initiatives, policies, and recommendations.
Duties

Develop concepts and contribute to long-term, long-range plans concerning budget, Research & Development (R&D), community outreach, operational development, data, and tools, for disciplines and technology area capabilities, methods, and advancement to include all planning and execution, oversight of such activities, to achieve objectives in accordance with the Center's goals and plans.
Create a technical vision for the division that is in support of the strategic vision of the directorate and the Center.
Explore, develop, evaluate, or operationalize new technologies/capabilities to improve analytical quality, technical content, presentation, and delivery of targeting products, soliciting feedback throughout.
Lead, mentor, and perform complex assignments within a team environment while contributing as a key team member to improve capability of technology areas or address initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with operational, analytic, intelligence, academia, and R&D communities to provide insight, guidance and advocacy leveraging internal and external efforts to support advancement of the Center's goals.

Qualifications
Only applicants who meet the area of consideration are eligible to apply for this job. In order to qualify for this position you must meet the basic education and/or specialized experience requirements.
For DR-III: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DR-II/GS-12/13 grade level. Specialized Experience is defined as work in the private or public sector performing duties in or related to the work of the position being filled. Examples of specialized experience include knowledge of operations research, physics, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or computer engineering theories, principles, practices, and tools for the purposes of space and maritime domain analyses, modeling, and/or technical advancements to meet operational production requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and methods, and experience designing and assessing complex M&S cases. Ability to utilize full suite of information technology (computer programs/software, databases and automated tools) to satisfy job requirements. Ability to effectively express complex data and analytic results to individuals and groups, taking the audience into account, as well as the nature of the information (e.g., technical, sensitive, controversial).

Knowledge of electronic warfare capabilities and employment.

Ability to prepare and deliver comprehensive briefings to defend technical approach, methodologies and analytical results within and outside of the organization.
