About the Position: Serves as Technical Lead providing technical and administrative coordination and integration of civil works design projects for construction, maintenance, repair, and for special projects or feasibility studies. Projects will primarily be Fish Passage Facilities within Seattle District.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing major work assignments in connection with all of the following: (1) the design and modification of projects such as fish passage facilities, navigation and coastal works, levees, dams, bridges, roads, streets; (2) providing technical and administrative coordination and integration of civil works design projects for construction, maintenance, and repair; (3) developing and executing project scope, schedule and budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For the GS-12 level, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: This position has a selective placement factor which must be met prior to employment and for continued employment. This position requires that you possess a current Professional Engineering (PE) License. (You MUST upload a copy of your current PE License with your application).
