About the Position: Program Manager over TEAD Modernization Plan activities within the Directorate of Base Operations. Functional expert in planning, program management, and directing functions necessary for the effective and efficient accomplishment of the Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) Modernization planning and execution mission.

Duties

Establish current and long-range modernization projects requirements to effectively execute TEAD mission Develop, maintain and implement the Command industrial base modernization strategy Appraise the long-range effects of technological developments upon the operations of the ammunition industrial base Define goals and objectives, project prioritization, scheduling, and resource requirements Plan, organize, and direct operations to apply available resources and comply with budget requirements necessary to finance the TEAD Modernization Plan Set a series of annual and multi-year work plans and associated schedules Plan and execute direct-funded multimillion dollar programs Determine whether contractor performance meets standards adequate to be authorized payment for the work performed Coordinate the development of TEAD Modernization Plan requirements and priorities with other directorates, Command Staff, and higher headquarters Develop performance standards, counsel employees on performance, and make formal and informal performance appraisals Review job descriptions for currency and accuracy and makes necessary changes; report detailing of employees to jobs other than their own Counsel employees on problems and adjust informal complaints through discussions with employees and union representatives

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Position requires certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) within one year of appointment.
