This position is part of the Office of Management, Department of Energy. As a Program Manager, you will be the Director, Sustainability Performance Office and serve as the senior advisor for sustainability, reporting to the Director, Office of Management, coordinating, managing, reviewing, and implementing all Sustainability and Climate Science programs, projects, and actions for the office.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Specialized experienceis experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities/competencies to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Implementing and executing a variety of legislation and Executive Orders related to the sustainability field (e.g., Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, and Executive Orders 13390, 14008, and 14057).
Strategic planning for a sustainability program by analyzing sustainability requirements and advising senior level leadership on implementation of requirements including those related to meeting goals for carbon pollution-free electricity, zero emission vehicles, and net zero emission buildings
Overseeing or managing programs, projects which includes leading a team to accomplish the organization's objectives.
