The ideal candidate would have worked as a workforce assistant or in a related role, and would have demonstrated proficiency with data management across a range of software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office). The ideal candidate would also have experience overseeing employee communications, and tracking and preserving relevant personnel records; executing payroll functions, report retrieval, data analysis, necessary corrective action, and distributing reports, as appropriate.

In this Workforce Assistant position, you will implement and coordinate Workforce functions and activities needed to carry out Recovery personnel ongoing activities. Specifically, to ensure efficient administrative and payroll functions for the Program Office.Typical assignments include:

To qualify for this Workforce Assistant position at the IC-06 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Performing data entry into automated databases.
Utilizing an electronic payroll or timekeeping system.
Retrieving reports and analyzing data to ensure accuracy.
To qualify for this Workforce Assistant position at the IC-07 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:
Utilizing an electronic payroll or timekeeping system.
Retrieving reports and analyzing data to ensure accuracy.
Presenting and facilitating the new hire orientation.
