The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of squadron contact for administrative support programs such as the On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Functional Area Records.
Duties
Manages the On-the-Job (OJT) Program for military personnel and ensures military personnel are enrolled in CDC and upgrade training as required.
Performs as unit Functional Area Records Manager (FARM).
Uses varied functions of multiple office automation software to produce a wide range of documents, formats, etc.
Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives.
Performs various clerical and assistant duties.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include managing the on-the-job (OJT) training programs for military personnel and ensures military personnel are enrolled in courses, and upgrade training as required. Monitors training requirements to ensure personnel are trained, requirements are accurately documented, and training records are updated. Performs as unit Functional Area Records Manager (FARM). Follows up on corrective actions for discrepancies noted during visits. Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives. Using automated schedulers or calendars, establishes suspense dates and brings to supervisor's attention those that cannot be met by requested date or when there is a conflict.

EDUCATION: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.

COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
