As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as a District Facilities Manager (DFM) within in one of the multiple Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Technical Operations (AJW) Districts.

Duties

Incumbent directs the maintenance and repair of National Airspace System (NAS) equipment and facilities within assigned group.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • May be required to serve a one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-K (GS/FG-15) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J (GS/FG-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience in design, development, operations, maintenance performance and evaluation of the NAS systems.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
