- Serve as a Senior Official to develop, coordinate, and administer grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts established to fulfill the mission of NIMHD.
-Provide leadership and staff support for ongoing projects such as the Institute Director and Deputy Director's activities in science research programs, as well as one-time special projects for the Institute Director and other NIH and Institute officials.
- Represent the Division or NIMHD as an authority in planning, development, and implementation of minority health and health care disparities research programs.
- Work across the NIH and other organizations to promote and coordinate research focused on minority health and health/health care disparities.
