You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN in the CENTER FOR NAVAL AVIATION TECHNICAL TRAINING (CNATT) for NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND (NETC) of CNATT UNIT JACKSONVILLE.

Duties

You will use standard office equipment (e.g., personal computers, word processors, copiers, fax machines) to perform routine clerical functions. You will enter information into training database to update or maintain student information. You will maintain administrative documents and files to comply with administrative processes. You will answer a multi-line phone system and provides information to various customers. You will respond to questions or problems identified by conducting research of the student information in the system. You will compose correspondence using proper spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax.

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assists with pay and travel processes and functions for students, such as per diem, travel provisions, billeting arrangements, and travel advance and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) requests; 2) Using organizational rules, policies, procedures, standards and other related guidelines sufficient to provide accurate, timely, complete, and compliant student management processing; 3) Utilize applicable computer software, systems, applications, and related equipment sufficient to provide accurate, timely, complete, and compliant: entry, maintenance, retrieval, distribution, creation, review, and distribution of student management related forms, documentation, information, and data. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successfully completed four years of education above high school level.
