Serves as the Supervisor and the Cloud Architect in the Mission Support Component of the Defense Media Activity (DMA) responsible for analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise cloud architecture framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the Component.
Duties
This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated June 23, 2023.
As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as an Information Technology Cybersecurity Specialist (INET) and oversees certification and accreditation activities for Information Assurance Compliance (INFOSEC) for the DMA Mission Support, Enterprise Architect.
Responsible for IT security in support of DMA's Enterprise Mission Networks and Systems.
Provides assessments of all Automated Data Protection (ADP) systems for the following categories: risk, firewalls, security policies and procedures, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), CyberSecurity Assessment Tool (CAT), Threat and Vulnerability, network/server scanning, viruses, compliance, security countermeasures, security system integration, and the assessment and authorization (A&A) process Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF).

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Experience with analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the architectural framework to align IT strategy, plans and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization; including the current and predicted future operational, technical, and data views of IT architecture.
Defines scope, interface requirements, policy issues and performance criteria while ensuring compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit the requirements of new systems.
Responsible for developing new architecture concepts and patterns following the guidelines and policies as presented in the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
