You will serve as a FACILITIES MANAGER (COR) of for the Department of the Navy National Security Integration Office (NSIO).
Duties
You will establish facility and IT goals and objectives, project planning and management, professional management, and prioritization of assignments related to National Security Integration Office (NSIO) business operations.
You will track progress and adjusts priorities to accommodate shifting schedules and workload and set clear and achievable standards of service and oversees
quality control of all facilities- and IT-related improvements.
You will coordinate and manage project’s escorts in the execution of assigned tasks in compliance with stringent security driven requirements
You will assist leadership in establishing and communicating priorities and requirements of (NSIO) business operations
You will understand, monitor, inspect, manage problems, track modifications, and provide technical expertise of contracts and review contractors' work and signs off on monthly billing.
You will serve as an Operations Security (OPSEC) Manager and assist leadership in ensuring there is a systematic method used to identify, control, and protect critical information related to programs.
You will plan, direct, and supervise specific construction work, minor projects, emergency/service actions, recurring jobs, maintenance, and all facilities operations.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Member is subject to a random Counter intelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- You will be required to currently possess and maintain a final TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to currently possess the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience with project management and DOD acquisition processes.
- Experience with security classification and safeguarding of classified information.
- Experience with planning, directing, and supervising specific construction work, minor projects, emergency/service actions, recurring jobs, maintenance, and all facilities operations.
- Experience in reading building specifications and blueprints.
- Experience in problem solving and presenting solutions both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in developing and planning business operations, managing multiple tasks, shaping workflow, prioritizing requirements, identifying problems, and proposing alternate solutions.
