Duties

Plans progressive basic instruction and application of skills in Arts and Crafts program. Develops and implements revenue generating activities. Outlines plans using broad objectives. Determines specifics to be treated, material to be utilized and emphasis applied. Instructs a variety of arts and crafts classes. May be required to supervise an assigned staff.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be willing to accept a varying and/or rotating shift to include day shifts with occasional nights and weekends.

Qualifications

1. Experience teaching art, restoring art objects, or as an artist. OR 2. A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree with a major course of study (24 semester hours) in fine or applied arts. The experience and education/certification must be reflected on your resume and supporting documentation such as transcripts, degrees, diplomas, certifications, etc. must be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. Highly Preferred candidates must have: Experience in Custom Framing AND Laser Engraving. The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
