Duties

Lead planning groups and planning processing in support of the Officer Readiness Detachment Targeting Process. Develop specific analysis products to include data collection and information requirements. Collect data from various data bases and/or systems for analysis to maximize the impact of ORD resources against key outcomes. Plan and execute the Command Officer Recruiting Detachment targeting process specific to a large metropolitan area with diverse populations and audiences.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), approximately 20% of the time
  • May be required to complete a one year trial period.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Analyzing recruiting techniques through trend analysis to make recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness; Overseeing recruiting activities such as advertising, marketing, social media, outreach and events to achieve desired outcomes within a specific area; Collaborating with staff to assist with information requests to implement new policies and/or processes and procedures to aid ongoing staff planning; Participating in recruiting events such as work groups or marketing events in support of the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Problem SolvingProject ManagementResearch Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
